The Club

The Jazz Club Hannover was founded over 50 years ago in a former coal cellar and is one of the most renowned music clubs in Europe. Idyllically situated on the Lindener Berg, hip jazz musicians from all over the world present here the best that this multifarious music genre has to offer - whether it be Swing, Modern, Soul, Reggae, Latin, Free or Funk Jazz.

Musically, the club keeps up with the times and always offers young musicians a stage and plenty of space for rehearsals. At the same time, the small jazz cellar with its bright orange-red painted walls has retained its special cult charm and intimate concert atmosphere over the years. In hardly any other location can the artists be experienced so closely live. Between 60 and 80 concerts take place annually in the famous "Orange Club".
